Dear Academy families and friends,
Happy Thanksgiving! Glory to Thee, O Lord, for all the fruits of the earth!
Blessed fast and good strength to all as we prepare for His coming nativity.
Some exciting updates and announcements below. (The attached version is identical, so you can print or download).
St Andrew and St Nicholas Day!
St. Andrew Day is Nov. 30th for the Feast of Saint Andrew! Formal wear on this day.
Also, Dec. 6th for the Feast of St. Nicholas!
St. Nicholas will be visiting all the children from parish and the Academy at 2:45 in front of the temple!
Plan to hang out for awhile, receive a blessing, a treat, and snap a photo with the bishop.
Patronal Feast
The Annual Saint Andrew Patronal Banquet is Saturday evening, Dec. 3rd! Get your tickets now for beautiful dinner, a silent auction, some Academy stories, and a guest speaker. Visit saintandrew.net/events, or contact Lex Enquist: 951.334.4658 or enquistlex@gmail.com
Matching Donor
We are very grateful to share that an anonymous matching donor has offered to donate much needed funds for any new donors who join us by Dec 31st. Any new donors who feel called to contribute 5,000 or more will see their impact doubled!
Two donors have already responded to the call. By the prayers of St. Andrew, we are hopeful of reaching our goal of 5 such new gifts.
Dual enrollment is live!
Great Books students (grades 9-11) are eligible to receive college credit from the University of St. Katherine simply by completing their St. Andrew high school courses! Visit this page for all the details.
2nd annual Art Contest
The St. Andrew Rublev art contest is beginning soon! Students grades 7-12 will be able to submit their art.
The assignment is to illuminate a Psalm of your choice.
Details will be released in Mr Jun’s art classes first, and then distributed via email, Telegram, and the website.
Sock Animal Workshop, Dec 8 from 6-8pm
